Streimer Taps Lux Performance for Pirelli Cup Portland Race

ALOHA, Ore., June 9, 2011 - Portland-area Pirelli Porsche Cup driver Steve Streimer has once again tapped the services of Lux Performance Group, LLC for prepping his Porsche GT3 Cup racer for rounds 7 and 8, being held in conjunction with the Portland Rose Festival Rose Cup Races at Portland International Raceway.  The partnership between Lux Performance and Steve Streimer goes back several years to when Streimer took lessons from Lux Performance head Cindi Lux.

Streimer raced in his first Pirelli Porsche Cup race at Portland International Raceway just last year, and he's back at his home track looking to avenge an unfortunate accident at the start of the fourth-round Pirelli Porsche Cup race at Miller Motorsports Park just a few weeks ago.  Streimer finished third in the third round event just the day before, and is looking to be back on the podium at Portland.

Lux Performance has an outstanding history of preparing for Rose Cup races.  In 2009, they prepped Cindi Lux's Dodge Viper Competition Coupe to a class win at the late Spring festival event.  Being Cindi's home track and with her on the radio, both Streimer and Lux Performance are anxious to take the green flag.
