Lux Performance Prepped Viper ACR-X Wins at Hallett

August 16, 2010, Hallett, Okl. - A Dodge Viper ACR-X prepped by Lux Performance Group, LLC took two podium spots this past weekend in competition for the Dodge Viper Cup.  Former open wheel racing star Richie Hearn took second place in Round Three of the ten-race series on Saturday, and on Sunday bettered his efforts by winning Round Four.  Stephen Cole Smith, contributor for Auto Week, had two Top Ten finishes in the second Lux Performance prepped Viper ACR-X.

Hearn and Cole Smith were coached by Cindi Lux, an accomplished racer with 12 road racing championships and 81 race wins.  She has competed in a Viper Competition Coupe for the SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge GT Series and was Mopar's factory-backed racer in 2008.

Hearn finished 5.6 seconds off the pace in Saturday's race with a best lap of 1:18.829.  On Sunday, his best race lap was a 1:17.998 and finished a very comfortable 18 seconds in front of the second place finisher.

Round Three will be broadcast on Versus on September 5 at 3:30pm Eastern, and Round Four will be broadcast on September 12 at 3:30pm Eastern.
